Gregorian, who holds degrees from New England Conservatory of Music and MSU is one of the featured conductors this month on WKAR Radio's 90.5 Community Concerts series.

His work was featured on August 11 and 18 and will also be featured in the August 25 program.

Gregorian joined the university's music faculty in 1984. Under his leadership both the symphony and chamber orchestras have performed in such prestigious venues as Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York, as well as ones in Chicago and Detroit.

In addition to receiving numerous honors throughout his career, including MSU's Teacher-Scholar and Distinguished Faculty awards, he has also received honorary awards from the State Houses in Massachusetts, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.
