Ira Glass to Appear at Wharton Center
Ira Glass will appear at Wharton Center on Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m., as part of the World View Lecture Series.
WKAR’s Melissa Ingells will host the evening and moderate audience questions from the popular host and producer of This American Life on WKAR AM/870. This American Life has received the highest honors for broadcasting and journalistic excellence, including the Peabody and DuPont-Columbia awards, as well as the Edward R. Murrow and Overseas Press Club Awards.
Glass will discuss a variety of subjects including his newest venture: the show's cable television adaptation, which will premiere on Showtime on March 22.
Tickets are $20 and available at the Wharton Center box office. The event is free for MSU faculty, staff and students.
