90.5 Community Concerts Return for a New Season

The 90.5 Community Concerts will return to WKAR-FM for a second season on Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. Performances will include selections from the MSU Symphony Orchestra, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra.  The weekly summer series is hosted by Dan Bayer.

Opening the series will be performances of Mendelssohn’s Overture Calm Seas and Prosperous Voyage by the LSO under the direction of Timothy Muffitt and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 as performed by the MSU Symphony Orchestra with Leon Gregorian conducting.
