WKAR eNews: Wed 8/19/09
This just in from Michigan Public Radio Network's Rick Pluta. Pluta is looking for someone who is an "involuntary part-time worker." That is, someone working part-time but seeking full-time employment. He'd like to talk with that person for an upcoming story to be shared with radio listeners throughout Michigan. If you fit that category or know someone who does, e-mail rickp@wkar.org or call 517.899.3596. WKAR's musical summer continues this week with 90.5 Community Concerts on Radio and performances and documentaries on TV. In addition to the programs mentioned in this edition of WKAR eNews, enjoy "Austin City Limits" with Manu Chao, Sunday afternoon's TV music specials and Metropolitan Opera performances Saturdays at 7 p.m. on WKAR World.
