WKAR eNews: Wed 9/30/09
There's plenty to do this week related to WKAR -- both on-screen and off!

Included on the broadcast schedule is the season premiere of "BackStage Pass" featuring Orquesta Ritmo in a concert for Hispanic Heritage Month. The salsa music will rock you!

Our events include a big-screen viewing of the conclusion of Ken Burns' "National Parks" series at the beautiful Michigan Theatre in Jackson and preview of the new "Art in the 21st Century" season at Kresge Art Museum, with a related talk.

And finally, we'd like to thank the more than 300 WKAR-TV members whose gifts to WKAR-HD/23, WKAR Create and WKAR World brought the station more than $140,000 and topped our goal by $25,000. Thank you!
