WKAR eNews: Tue 4/22/08
Celebrate ability on Saturday, April 26, here at WKAR! "Rolling: Focusing on Ability" is a free event focusing on special needs with an emphasis on wheelchair use and will feature much free information and an inspiring program. See the attached article for an updated listing.

We also hope you'll join WKAR as we kick off Ira Glass' Showtime television series at the Lansing Mall Cinemas.

Tickets still remain for the Thom Jayne event.  On radio you can enjoy the music of Duke Ellington and on WKAR-TV, the complex stories of a Holocaust survivor and those who serve on the USS Nimitz.

Finally, Arthur Foote's Three Pieces for Flute & Piano will be performed on WKAR on Thursday, April 24, in the 1 p.m. hour by MSU College of Music faculty members Richard Sherman and Ralph Votapek.  The performance was recorded October 19, 2007 at the College of Music Auditorium.
