Everyone enjoys a little bit of free entertainment! You can enjoy two days of terrific jazz music live in downtown East Lansing during the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival. See the article below for details and featured artists.

Congratulations to this year's winners of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra/90.5 FM Classical Music Contest. The 34 members of Barbara Acker's fifth grade class at Lansing's Averill Elementary School listened to more than 225 hours of classical music during a 30-day period. They recently had a visit from WKAR's Jody Knol who answered student questions and talked about his experiences in public broadcasting.
