Join WKAR and the Holt Library this month for a Free workshop for parents and children 3-6 years old
WKAR’s Ready To Learn Service is pleased to join with area libraries to offer free workshop for parents with children from ages 3-6 that focus on reading.
Each workshop includes:
- Three free parent sessions offer ideas to help your child have fun with reading and integrate early literacy skills into play and everyday experiences -- Then join your child to watch a clip from a PBS children’s program, do an activity and read a book.
- Free books to take home
The workshop is free.
Where: Holt Library
When: May 1, 8, 15 -- 6:15-7:30 p.m. (Thursdays)
Attend all three sessions at either library and receive three free books and a chance to win a special PBS program prize!
