North Carolina Riverfront Getaway Sweepstakes
1. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. Promotion begins at 5:30 AM EST on Monday, March 24, 2008 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on Monday, March 31, 2008.
Limit one entry per person, address, e-mail address or household, regardless of method of entry. No responsibility is assumed by the sponsor for human error or any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of WKAR TV/Radio and will not be returned.
2. Winner Selection/Deadline Dates
The winner will be selected in a random drawing Thursday, April 3, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The drawing will take place in the WKAR Radio Studios, East Lansing, MI.
3. Prize
The winner will receive a one week stay at the Farfield Harbour Resort in New Bern, North Carolina beginning June 29, 2008 and ending July 6, 2008. This prize is valued at $1,600. One prize package is available. The prize is not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of the prize is permitted by contestants, except that WKAR reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable. Only one prize per household.
4. Eligibility
Employees of WKAR and their immediate family members are not eligible. A person may win only one WKAR giveaway or prize per membership campaign.
5. General Conditions
Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All federal and state taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize will be awarded and the winner will be notified via phone or mail on Thursday, April, 2008 from among all eligible entries received.
6. Notification
Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. In the event that the winner declines the prize, it is at WKAR’s discretion to choose an alternate winner or retain the prize for another drawing or purpose. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for WKAR to use winner's name and state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless WKAR from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or any prize won.
7. Contest void where prohibited by law.
8. Winners List
The name of the winner may be posted or read on any WKAR station, website and/or promotional material.
