Kalamazoo Senator Tom George has been on the campaign trial for months pursuing his bid for the GOP nomination for governor.. He is finishing his second term in the
Michigan Senate, where he chairs the Health Policy Committee and sits on the Senate Appropriations Panel. George served two years in the House before joining the state Senate.
