WKAR AM 870 Receives Honor

WKAR AM 870 was recently honored at the City of Lansing's annual Diversity Day celebration for its 40-year commitment to providing music, news and information for mid-Michigan’s Spanish-speaking community on its weekly Ondas en Espanol series.

WKAR appreciates this commendation and would like to thank Tony "Chayo" Cervantes for his dedication to producing and hosting the program for the past 21 years.

The station also appreciates the efforts of all those who have been involved over the years in providing this valuable and lasting communication offering to our Spanish-speaking listeners.
